Warranty Conditions

Legal Warranty of Conformity

In accordance with Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, all products sold on www.echo-blinddog.com benefit from a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers defects of conformity existing at the time of product delivery.

What the Warranty Covers

The legal warranty of conformity covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Malfunctions not attributable to improper use
  • Non-conformity of the product with its description
  • Absence of announced or reasonably expected qualities

Warranty Exclusions

The following are excluded from the warranty:

  • Normal Wear: Wear related to daily use of the product (scratches, signs of use, slight discoloration)
  • Improper Use: Damage resulting from use not in accordance with the instructions provided in the manual
  • Accidental Damage: Shocks, falls, immersion in water, exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Deterioration by the Animal: Bites, scratches or any damage caused by the animal wearing the device
  • Battery Wear: Natural decrease in rechargeable battery capacity over time
  • Emitter Wear: Natural wear of piezoelectric emitters related to normal use
  • Modifications: Any modification, repair or attempted repair by the Customer or an unauthorized third party
  • Negligence: Failure to maintain according to manufacturer recommendations

This list is not exhaustive. In general, any damage not resulting from a manufacturing defect is excluded from the warranty.

How to Claim the Warranty

For any warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer service at admin@echo-blinddog.com
  • Step 2: Provide your order number and purchase date
  • Step 3: Describe the problem encountered precisely
  • Step 4: Attach photos or videos illustrating the malfunction if possible
  • Step 5: Our team will indicate the procedure to follow within 48 hours

Repair or Replacement Options

If your product has a defect covered by the warranty, you have the choice between:

  • Repair: The product is repaired and returned to you
  • Replacement: A new product is sent to you in exchange for the defective product

If repair or replacement is impossible, a full refund will be offered.

Return Costs for Warranty

  • In case of a defect covered by the warranty, return costs are covered by Echo-Blinddog
  • The repaired or replacement product will be returned to you at no additional cost
  • If the defect is not covered by the warranty, return and reshipping costs remain the responsibility of the Customer

Hidden Defects Warranty

In accordance with Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, the Customer also benefits from the legal warranty against hidden defects. This warranty allows for a price reduction or cancellation of the sale if the product has a hidden defect rendering it unfit for its intended use.

Maintenance Tips to Preserve Your Warranty

To ensure the longevity of your Echo product:

  • Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water or excessive humidity
  • Recharge the battery according to the manual’s recommendations
  • Store the product in a dry place when not in use
  • Follow the instructions in the user manual
